Looking back at this old photo from my military days reminds me why adventure has always been my motivation.
The above was taken wandering and climbing around the Himalayas.
Early on, I learned to escape hierarchy and test my own limits — eventually joining the SF world, not for prestige, but just to see if I could.
I’ve also trained and led small teams around the world to prevent terrorism and stop drug smuggling on airlines.
I’ve trained and led door teams against gangsters armed only with… a pencil. It paid for my degree course as a mature student.
What I’ve learnt is simple: the future of humanity, if it’s going to survive, won’t be mega-titans with tech.
It will be small, empowered teams, using technology wisely and connected to communities.
If you want your team to experience dynamic teaming in action, step into a ‘walkshop’ and see how empowered people behave differently — and better.
