Teams will have to adapt too.

One of the reasons we homeschool is that schooling is primarily based on the industrial model of work. It was after all invented to take care of kids so that their parents could be guided to work in the factories. That’s all changing…

And so is work.

Industrial models of work require people to act as automatons or widgets, until tech could replace human widgets with more reliable widgets.

Just as school is finding itself having to adapt quickly…and probably not able to because it’s a big centralised bureaucratic machine.

Teams will have to adapt too.

When I wrote my book ‘From Mercenaries to Missionaries’ it was an acknowledgement that the era of small teams with powerful tech would replace much of the modern industrial workforce.

And here we are….. Just as parents and teachers need to adapt. Entrepreneurs have to as well. If they need a team, you need to model it on the way ‘Special forces’ teams do.

But you can’t scale ‘Special’
