In the not-too-distant future, our current economic and social systems, rooted in capitalism and hierarchy, will be viewed with the same skepticism as ‘Flat Earth’ thinking.
As awareness spreads, more people will recognise that the present paradigm champions—a few winners in a ‘compete and control’ world—distort and manipulate reality to maintain their dominance. Often unwittingly.
These systems, designed to concentrate wealth and power, inherently breed inequality and stifle creativity and collaboration.
They perpetuate a narrow worldview that prioritises profit over people, control over collaboration.
Yet, as history shows, the status quo is never invulnerable to change.
Ordinary people and especially the young, are awakening to the cracks in this facade.
They see through the illusions of meritocracy and the myth that success is solely the result of individual effort.
As this realisation deepens, the demand for systems that promote equity, mutual support, and sustainable living, will intensify.
This shift in consciousness is inevitable.
The narrative is changing, and with it, the structures that no longer serve the collective good will crumble.
The future belongs to systems that recognise our interconnectedness and prioritise the well-being of of the planet’s biosphere.
