When you treat leadership as a position, you get what we see in the world today.
A crazy bunch of all sorts vying for the top spot, the most money, the most power and they’ll destroy people and planet to get them themselves into that position.
This is because hierarchy triggers the dominance behaviour system within the brain.
This means those overplayed strengths morph into subclinical Dark Tetrad personality traits.
Traits which thrive in old world, larger organisations – they especially gravitate towards charities and other ‘respectable’ orgs within which they can hide and exploit the kindness of others – and that allows them to rise to the top by trampling on others.
