🔥 Testing myself with a week-long fast. đźŚ€

🌀 In times of chaos, clarity is the ultimate power. 🌀

Half a stone gone in seven days — not just weight, but visceral fat, the kind that quietly harms us from the inside. Normally I follow a 12-hour fast most days and one longer fast each year. Why? Because challenge is essential.

This is part of the Stoic Pilgrim Field Guide — the framework we use on retreats and in The Fellowship, a private men’s group here on LinkedIn. We mix Stoic principles with Aristotle’s example of walking and talking in nature to develop wisdom.

We’re living in transformational times. How do we prepare for a paradigm shift in how we live, work, and lead? For me, it’s through mindful reflection, dialogue, and shared exploration — around campfires, on woodland trails, in conversation that sharpens the mind.

Our ancestors — hunter-gatherers — were some of the most adaptable, inventive people to ever walk the earth. The Fellowship draws on that spirit: exploring the future, cultivating wisdom, wealth (material & metaphysical), and wellbeing, and living what I call Mastery of Both Worlds — the ability to thrive today while building the future.

The only constant is change. The question is whether we anticipate and prepare or simply react.
