A walk is perhaps one of the most overlooked habits in our society. We’re constantly rushing from A to B, often forgetting the simple act of walking.
Yet, some of history’s greatest thinkers advocated for the necessity of a simple walk.
They saw it as a way to think clearly, generate new ideas, and get the mental cogs turning. If there’s anyone we should heed about the benefits of walking, it’s philosophers. Their lives revolved around deep thinking and writing day in and day out.
In our fast-paced world, many of us struggle with this.
We’re constantly tapped into endless entertainment at our fingertips, and our ability to think clearly and focus has been on the decline. Instant gratification is a problem that few seem to care about.
For me, walking has become a way to ground myself in the present, allowing wisdom to percolate from the neurotransmitters released with exercise and nature.
I’m excited to offer a complimentary session of Wisdom Walks & Wild Coaching—a unique blend of outdoor coaching.
