Welcome to Stoic Pilgrim Adventures. By booking our events, training sessions, or coaching services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Non-Refundable Deposit:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place. This is due to upfront costs incurred, including venue hire and event preparation.
1.2 Final Payment:
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 21 days before the event or training date. If the balance is not received by this deadline, Stoic Pilgrim Adventures reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund of the deposit.
1.3 Late Bookings:
For bookings made less than 21 days before the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.4 Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other agreed methods.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
2.1 Cancellations by the Client:
- If you cancel more than 30 days before the event, you will forfeit your 50% deposit, but no further charges will apply.
- If you cancel within 30 days of the event, no refunds will be issued.
2.2 Rescheduling by the Client:
- Requests to reschedule must be made at least 21 days in advance. While we will try to accommodate your request, availability cannot be guaranteed.
- Rescheduling within 21 days of the event may incur an additional fee to cover costs.
2.3 Cancellations or Changes by Stoic Pilgrim Adventures:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or significantly alter an event, you will be offered the option to transfer to an alternative date or receive a full refund. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
3. Event Participation
3.1 Participant Responsibilities:
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the activity.
- Participants must follow all instructions provided by our team to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
- Stoic Pilgrim Adventures reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
3.2 Medical and Dietary Requirements:
You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. Failure to disclose such information may result in exclusion from certain activities without refund.
4. Liability and Insurance
4.1 Personal Liability:
Stoic Pilgrim Adventures will not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during the event unless caused by our proven negligence.
4.2 Insurance:
Participants are advised to have their own travel and personal accident insurance to cover unforeseen incidents.
5. Force Majeure
Stoic Pilgrim Adventures is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes to your booking caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, or government restrictions.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials, content, and activities provided during our events and trainings are the intellectual property of Stoic Pilgrim Adventures. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy –
8. General
8.1 Minimum Age:
Participants must be at least 18 years old unless prior arrangements have been made with parental/guardian consent.
8.2 Amendments to Terms:
Stoic Pilgrim Adventures reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Updated terms will be provided to you before any changes affect your booking.
